The tranquil town of Sooke lies about 34 km west from Victoria, the capital of British Columbia. It is a 40 min drive away if you take Highway 14.
The ferry trip from Vancouver's Tsawwassen terminal, to Victoria's Swartz Bay Terminal takes about 90 minutes. Then it is a 25 minute drive to Victoria and a further 40 minutes to Sooke.
